NEEDS ASSESSMENT
Join us for the Baylor College of Medicine 11th Annual Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Conference, an event dedicated to advancing healthcare quality through innovation and collaboration. As medical errors continue to pose significant public health and ethical challenges, healthcare providers must prioritize patient safety and continuously enhance their quality of care.
This year’s theme, “Using Technology to Improve Healthcare Quality,” will explore how technological advancements can drive better patient outcomes. Attendees will gain insights from expert-led sessions, real-world case studies, and discussions on integrating digital health solutions into clinical practice.
Event Highlights:
✅ Keynote Speaker: Dr. Hashem El-Serag, Chair and Professor of the Department of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, will share his expertise on the role of technology for Learning Health Systems.
✅ Abstract Winners Presentations: Three selected presenters will showcase their quality improvement (QI) work.
✅ Panel Discussion: Invited panelists will share their perspectives on Digital Health and best practices for implementing QI into clinical practice.
✅ Poster Session: Featuring a diverse range of quality improvement projects from across the Texas Medical Center, showcasing innovative ideas and research in patient safety and healthcare excellence.
This conference is presented in collaboration with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement – BCM Chapter, a student-led organization committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement in healthcare.
