In the midst of a national nursing shortage, it is crucial to recruit new nurses into the workforce and continue the careers of tenured nurses. How is this accomplished with more nurses retiring or leaving the industry, and not enough new talent to fill their shoes? This panel will explore strategies to improve nurse recruitment and retention, and how CNOs can help create and strengthen the next generation of nurses.

However, it is clear that compensation is not the only factor that nurses are considering when choosing between health systems. This panel will take a look at innovative perks to attract and keep nurses, and how workplace culture and safety play a role as benefits alongside compensation.
